Review assignment (Acting, comedy and music) – Due March 9 (by 11:59 pm)

Select one of the following options and use the guidelines to offer critical analysis of the film. Always look for strengths and weaknesses and utilize materials gained from the modules to implement into the reviews. Submit your assignment by email (link or doc to the professor’s email before the deadline). Late assignments may not be accepted.  

Option 1: “Exploring Music”

Submit a film review by blog, doc, podcast or YouTube video (500 words or 4-minutes minimum on a music-driven film (from this list).  

Your review should cover all of the following areas (do not forget the setup for the story and characters … and do nor giveaway spoilers).

Option 2: The Best Acting Ever

Submit a film review by blog, doc, podcast or YouTube video (500 words or 4-minutes minimum on a talent-driven film from this list of 100-Great Acting Performances of All Time (Pendragon Society).  Based on your module in exploring acting, you should identify the type of “acting” used in this film by the “lead talent” and defend your answer. Your review should also cover all of the following areas (do not forget the setup for the story and characters … and do nor giveaway spoilers).

Option 3: The Comedy:

Submit a film review by blog, doc, podcast or YouTube video (500 words or 4-minutes minimum on a comic-driven film from this list of 30-Great Comedies (Mental Floss). You should offer what type of comedy is used based on your understanding of the module materials.  Your review should also cover all of the following areas (do not forget the setup for the story and characters … and do nor giveaway spoilers).
