Module 10 – Time to Make up and get Hairy

If you take the time to look at the credits at the end of films, you’ll discover crews connected to hair and makeup. These artists can take us into the past, into the future and into other worlds. From recreating styles of the 1950s hoop skirts to creating never-before seen monsters, they are as important to our visual interpretations of film as any of the other craftworkers.

As we continue to discover, each member of the cast and crew brings life to characters and stories. Let’s explore some of the talents behind hair and makeup of cinema and witness some of the award-winning (and unforgettable) works.
